Dogma Watchable

Dogma is the forth installment of the Kevin Smith saga.  The first three movies were Clerks, Mall Rats, and Chasing Amy.  One of Kevin's subjects in his movies have been comic book characters and comic book writers.  Dogma could easily have been a comic book come to life in the world of religion.  All the characters are back from the earlier movies, such as Jay and Silent Bob, plus this movie bust out with some super star power, Ben Affleck (who was also in earlier Smith movies), Matt Damon, Jeanenne Garafiloe, Chris Rock, Helma Syack, George Carlin and Alantesse Morissete.  The movie's characters are mostly biblical, with powers and themes of good vs. evil and all revolve around religion, rules and God.  The movie has sparked criticism from Catholics, which is the religion the movie revolves around.  By the bookers will surely be offended at the bending and rewriting of some rules.  But, the movie is a comedy and should be viewed that way.  I give the movie a watchable rating cuzz this Smith movie has a plot that is a little too much like a comic book.
