Being John Malkovich Liked It

I've been reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone which is a wonderful kids book that builds a world of wonder and magic and dragons, full of the imagination that kids can get lost in.  Being John Malkovich is another world stepped into, quirky, inventive, and as unreal as Harry Potter flying thru the air on a broomstick, but both are a nice walk outside the real one.  This movie's world could have been one dream up by Freud, with all the players being guided by sexual instincts.  It's definitely not a children's story.

I liked the concept of this odd world and unusual characters.  It could be considered simply weird or stupid, but I liked it.
