Starring: Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Shue
Hollow Man is built around the idea of being invisible. Aside from the
movie, just the idea of invisibility starts the mind to wondering how
that power could be wielded if given the chance. It's much like
wondering how you would spend the money if you ever won the
lottery.
For the most part, Hollow Man is a smart movie that a good job of
making invisibility interesting and it keeps you thinking. There
is a lot of action in the movie also and it tends to dumb down the
movie. : ) (I'm not a big fan of action, if you couldn't
tell. I'm a story man.) Anyway, the movie is definitely
worth a look.
On a side note, when I was young, I fell in love with Elizabeth Shue
when she played in the Karate Kid movie. She captivated my mind
and made my eyes follow her where ever she went. Sad to say,
those days are over : ( Elizabeth has grown into a not so good
actress and it's just hard for me to watch her work now. Not to
mention her hair doesn't do much for her in this movie.
