Boys Don't Cry made this boy cry (wishing I had never rented it!!!) I hate being suckered into movies that have high "critical" acclaim and then they are horrible. Why critics flock to such bad movies with high praise baffles me. 

The only factor that is good about this movie is that it's a true story, which is always a plus in my mind. But sad to say, this movie picks a bad story to tell and the only reason I can think that they made it was because a girl tried to live her life as a boy.  It wasn't a compelling enough reason for me to watch this movie.

I felt like I could duplicate this movie by simply taking any thug in prison and making a true life movie about them. Personally, I don't want to watch a true story about any thugs (unless the thug is REALLY cool or just hilarious)

Please don't watch this movie, it will leave a bad taste in your mouth.
