28 Days Not Worth The Money

Starring: Sandra Bullock

About 45 minutes into this movie I was ready to go sneak into another movie just so I could get some value out of the $5.50 I had paid to see it.  There is nothing compelling about the first half of this movie and the second half is only watchable and seems pretty good contrasted to the first half.  I felt like I was stuck in an AA meeting watching one of those bad defensive driving quality movies and the only reason that I was watching it was because I had to to receive credit for it.

I've never really gotten into Sandra Bullock as an actress.  To me, she is always the same character in her movies, there is no art in her performances, she's just herself.  And apart from a lack luster performance from her, the rest of the cast of characters are either uninspiring or simply silly and unrealistic.

The story itself is on par with the characters, uninspired and unrealistic.

Compared to Return To Me, this movie is a dull Alcoholics Anonymous movie.
